Tour Waqrapukara (Full Day)

We will pick you up from your hotel at 4:00 am and then we will go to the south towards the town of Sangara, this trip takes about two hours approximately, on the way we will have views of extensive cornfields, potatoes, beans, and, among others, also pass through the Choquicahuana bridge from where the landscape will be changing little by little until you reach the lagoon of Pomacanchi where we will stop to take photos and enjoy the views.

Afterward our journey will continue to the village of Sangara where we will enjoy our breakfast and a short rest to start our walk of about 2 hours by large grasslands to the archaeological and astronomical Inca site Wakrapucara, where we will have free time to explore the terraces, temples, towers, cave paintings and later have free time to relax, appreciate the scenery and enjoy our snack.

Subsequently, we will start our return walking heading to the village of Sangarara, where we will have our repairing and energetic lunch. After lunch we will visit the house of a local man to learn his customs, traditions, and lifestyle, we suggest you take groceries such as sugar, rice, oil, etc, to collaborate with them.

Finally, we will return to Cusco in our private transport for another two hours, arriving at about 7 in the evening to your respective hotel.
