Tour Itinerary

Our adventure begins with the pick up at your hotel at 4:00 am in our private transportation, we will travel to the town of Mollepata where we will stop for breakfast, then we will continue for 1 hour more to Soraypampa at 3,900 m, where our hike to the Humantay Lagoon begins.

Our guide will give you some important information and instructions, we will begin with our hike uphill with incredible views of Salkantay and Humantay, this ascent will take approximately two hours with brief obligatory stops to rest.

After the effort, once at the lagoon, our guide will explain the importance of these lagoons, snow-capped mountains, etc. Afterwards you will have free time to take postcard photos and explore the place. We will take the road back along the same trail towards Soraypampa from where we will board our trip to Mollepata for lunch.

Finally, after our delicious lunch we will start our return trip to your hotel in Cusco, arriving approximately at 17:00.

What is included?

This is what is included in the price.

  • Tour Leader or GuideYou will have an experienced trip leader with you for the entire trip.
  • TicketsThe entrance fee to the Humantay Lagoon is included.
  • All transportation and privateTransportation is included for all excursions from arrival to departure. Also included is the Consettur bus to and from Machu Picchu.
  • FoodIncludes 1 Breakfast and 1 Lunch.
  • Medical KitOur entire team is trained in first aid, all our guides carry a first aid kit to deal with emergencies, as well as a small oxygen tank.

What is not included?

  • Single Roomif you need a single room there is an additional cost.
  • Gratuities for staffTipping is a common tradition in any type of excursion, usually group participants pool their tips to give to the muleteers, cooks and guides. Although we pay a good salary to our entire team, an extra for them is always appreciated.
  • Food lunches and dinners are not included. However, we will provide you with a complimentary dinner.
  • Travel insurance: It is not mandatory, but it is recommended to purchase it to protect yourself financially from any lost excursion.

Prices and departure dates

The Tour can depart any day of the week, from March to January. we do not go out in February because it rains a lot.

Departures are 100% guaranteed, as we operate from two travelers.

Cost of the Tour

Tour price: $ 120.00 US$ 100 per person.

Deposit required: To make a reservation, a prepayment of US$ 50.00 per person via PayPal is required.

After the deposit please send us to booking@doadventuresperu.com the transfer number. Only with this we will be able to confirm your prepayment and the reservation of the hike.

Balance: The remaining balance can be paid online by Paypal in advance, or in Cusco with cash (recommended) before the tour begins.

Note: If you are paying the balance by credit or debit card there is a 5% charge. that have to be covered by the clients, this tax is only for the remaining balance, or it can be paid in Cusco with cash without tax before starting the tour.
