At the given time of your arrival, our representatives will be at the airport in Cusco, waiting to transfer you to the hotel and help you to check in and provide you with the necessary information about restaurants, currency exchange, etc. After this, you have the morning free to acclimatize.
In the afternoon at 13:00 hours, we will start the archaeological City Tour of Cusco, in this tour we will visit the Cathedral of Cusco, it houses a large collection of architectural works of Spanish Baroque style.
Then, we will visit the Temple of Coricancha, also known as the Temple of the Sun, where the Spaniards built the Church of Santo Domingo over one of the most important Inca Sacred enclosures.
After this, we’ll leave the city to go to four archaeological sites, such as Sacsayhuaman, where the Inti Raymi (Festival of the Sun) the most popular celebration of Cusco, is recreated every June 24th, then we will visit Qenqo, Tambomachay, and Pukapukara (famous Inca Baths).
The tour ends at approximately 6:30 pm.
At 08:00 h in the morning, is the departure from Cusco to Ollantaytambo, we´ll go along the famous Vilcanota River, better known as the Sacred Valley of the Incas. On the way, we will stop to have explanations from our guide about the Inca sites and to observe the landscape.
The first archaeological site to visit is Pisac, with its huge Inca terraces for agriculture, the extensive constructions over the valley such as temples, houses, altars, etc., and then we go ahead to the traditional market (only on market days), there you will have some free time to interact with local artisans, or to buy handmade souvenirs and handycraft in general.
Then we continue to the Inkary Museum, where you will learn about the amazing history of the most important cultures of Peru, here you can appreciate life-size models and mannequins of pre-Inca cultures such as: Caral, Chavin, Paracas, Nazca, Mochica, Lambayeque and Chimu. Then, we continue to Urubamba to enjoy a delicious lunch in a traditional Tourist restaurant.
After lunch, we head to Ollantaytambo, well known as the Museum town , the Inca city with remarkable canals, stone streets, where the Inca architecture is still preserved. We visit the incredible temples with huge blocks.
Finally, at the given time, according to the train ticket schedule, we approach to the train station for the check in to travel from Ollantaytambo to Aguas Calientes for about 2 hours, where you will be transferred to your hotel, and enjoy a delicious dinner at a tourist restaurant, and then prepare for the visit to Machu Picchu next day.
This is the most important day, your visit to Machu Picchu, one of the Wonders of the World!
We encourage you to get up early to board one of the first buses to the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu. Once we arrive to the Inca site of Machu Picchu, there you will have about two hours of guidance , during the explanation you will visit the viewpoint, the Intihuatana located at the top of the citadel, the temple of the sun, the temple of the condor, and other important sectors.
After this, you will have some free time to explore the rest of the citadel on your own. At the recommended time you will return to Aguas Calientes for lunch (not included) and board the train back to Ollantaytambo, here there will be a bus waiting to transfer you to your hotel in Cusco City
Around 2 hours before your flight, our staff will pick you up at your hotel and transfer you to the airport in Cusco.
Upon arrival at the airport in Lima, you will be transferred to your hotel in Miraflores for check-in.
(optional) During the night you will have the tour of the Circuito de las Aguas Park, the largest aquatic complex in South America, on Mondays this park is closed.
Today will be a full day of tours, early in the morning we will transfer to Paracas, where we will visit the Ballestas Islands in the Pacific Ocean, known as the Galapagos of Peru, home to Humboldt penguins, sea lions and more species of fauna.
Then we will travel to the natural oasis of Huacachina, where we will take a buggy ride and sandboarding, where we will go through many dunes as if we were on a roller coaster in the desert.
Finally we will continue to the town of Nazca, where we will spend the night.
After breakfast, we will head to the Nazca airport where our trip to the Inca ruins will begin.
We will board the plane to fly and start being part of this incredible adventure, only from the sky we will be able to see the figures like the monkey, arnha, hummingbird and much more. According to studies, this desert has more than 1100 figures carved by this Tinga civilization, and these figures remain a mystery to this day.
After we have explored, we will be ready to start our return trip to Lima.
After breakfast, our tour begins with a visit to the exposition park, Plaza de la Exposición, Plaza de los Heros, Plaza San Martin, Plaza Mayor de Armas, the Government Palace, the Cathedral and the catacombs of the Convent of San Francisco.
Our tour continues with a visit to the Huaca Pullana park, where other cultures lived long before the Incas, finally we will visit the center of Lima which was the heart of the colony in the sixteenth century, becoming a world heritage site in 1991.
Finally the afternoon will be free to discover more on your own or taste Peruvian food in one of the restaurants.
About 3 hours before your flight, our team will pick you up at your hotel and transfer you to the Lima airport for your international flight.
